The 100,000-square foot flagship Montgomery County Library provides a place to browse, learn and be inspired. The library houses more than 200,000 titles, state-of-the-art Internet and communications technologies, public meeting rooms with modern presentation facilities, a children's library, a teen homework area, an audio/video collection, public computers, a help center, and naturally lit reading rooms overlooking the Square.

Having trouble downloading library e-books and audiobooks to your eReader or tablet? Get help from a librarian! You'll receive one-on-one help using your eReader to download library books and audiobooks for free. First come, first served. Thursdays from 10-12. No registration required. You must bring your device & library card. If you have a Kindle device, you must know your Amazon ID & password to download books.
Free Computer Tutoring-Basics and Beyond
Need help with internet, email, word processing? We can help you! Call 240-777-0140 for an appointment with a volunteer tutor from 1-4 on Mondays and Wednesdays. You may also drop in without an appointment on Fridays from 1-4. Signing up at the PC Lab is recommended on Fridays.
Volunteers from SCORE (Senior Corps of Retired Executives) will offer counseling for small business on Mondays (10-3), Tuesdays (9-5) and Saturdays (10-3). By appointment only. Call 240-777-0140 or TTY 240-777-0902 to register.

Square Kids- Mommy and Me
Kids 2 and up (and parent or caregiver) meet in the town square for craft activities and in the library for stories. Storytime at 10:30 and repeated at 11:30. Co-sponsored by Federal Realty and MCPL. If Mommy and Me is cancelled for weather reasons by Federal Realty, storytime will be cancelled as well. Call for more information.
Is your child struggling with reading? Kindergarteners through 2nd graders read with senior volunteers from the Jewish Council on Aging who will provide one-on-one reading help. No registration. First come, first served. Free! Thursdays at 10. June 19-August 14.
