Miso Café

Miso Café, 2,265 square feet, will feature Korean fusion cuisine. This is the second location from the owners of Miso Café in Annandale, VA. The new full-service restaurant is expected to open this summer, and will be located at 33-E Maryland Avenue.


Samovar, 3,353 square feet, will specialize in primarily Russian cuisine, with Eastern European and Central Asian influence. This is owners’, Solijon Nasimov and Ika Nasimova, first DC-area restaurant. The father-daughter team has over 25 years of experience in the industry, with restaurants in New York, Colorado, and their home country of Tajikistan; they are also the caterer for the Russian Trade and Cultural Missions and Tajikistan Embassy in Washington, DC. Their new concept restaurant will feature live music on the weekends, and is expected to open at Rockville Town Square this July at 201 N. Washington Street.

Peter Chang's

Esteemed chef, Peter Chang, will open a new restaurant at Rockville Town Square in early 2015.  The 3,100 square foot restaurant will specialize in healthy and traditional Chinese cuisine and will be unique in concept from his other locations. Chang’s namesake restaurant will serve dishes like Peter Chang’s Duck in Stone Pot and Grandma’s Steamed Pork Belly, which is first marinated, then steamed and finally pan-fried until golden brown.   Peter Chang attended the Sichuan Higher Institute of Cuisine, where he received the title of Master Chef and graduated first in his class. Chang went on to win national cooking competitions in China and once served as chef at the Chinese Embassy in Washington, D.C. The award-winning chef has acquired loyal fans that frequent his restaurants for classic Chinese dishes and authentic culinary creations that have received national attention. Peter Chang’s Rockville Town Square restaurant will be open daily from 11:00am to 1:00am.

Welcome to Hair Design Zone (HDZ), a state of modern high-end hair salon located in the Rockville Town Square, only 5 minuses walking distance to the Rockville metro station. The HDZ is a hair salon, indeed, but at the same time, it's a relaxing space where you can recharge yourself and socialize with people. The salon focuses on providing beauty treatment of the highest quality, training staff in the latest innovations and utilizing cutting edge techniques from Japan and USA.  Realizing her dream of opening a hair salon in the US, Juan Ma, the owner of the salon, graduated from IMKINKI cosmetologist school in Japan, worked as a chief stylist in ABANAI (a top rated hair salon in Osaka, Japan) for more than10 years. The HDZ with her leading will pledge to offer the finest haircut, color, and care to customers.
